A good day and a bad day

Today mom & dad took me to the birdie store in Denver with the promise of getting me a toy if I was good. I'm always good, aren't I? Well, little did I know what I had to be good for. Next thing I know, some strange lady is taking me out of my travel box, wrapping me in a towel, and GRINDING my feeties! As if that wasn't bad enough, she darn near ground my face off!!!!!!!!!! Now the tip of my beakie has been rounded off (although I think it makes me look kinda cute) and my feeties are all rounded off too!

But the best news is that we found a rasta man!!!! He's different colors than our old one, but it's the rasta all the same. My old rasta came from Portland, Oregon about 2 years ago. I loved him, cuddled with him, and beat him senseless until there was nothing left. I've missed him so much. Well, now I have a new one and a source for more! The picture at the top is my new rasta man before I got a hold of him. OH...and I'm trying to get the pic of rasta rotated, but I'm having technical difficulties.

I got new toys!!!!

Since we've been in Denver the mom & dad have been gone alllllll day, everyday, leaving poor little me to entertain myself. Well, my toys have started getting ratty and the mom started feelin guilty, so I got new toys. If that wasn't good enough, the dad got a guitar that came in bubble wrap. I LOVE bubble wrap. I can chew and pop it all day long. Here's a few pictures of me bubble rappin. i wonder if other 'toos like bubble wrap as much as I do?

Eating corn with dad

This picture is kinda blury because dad and I were eating corn soooo fast that we were a blur. Mom bought some really yummy corn at a farm in Layton, Utah and we've been eating it ever since. Last night the dad andI shared an ear. He tried to put some on my cage, but I wasn't having it. This 'too does not eat corn alone! No sirree! I demanded to eat with my flock. I also sampled some of their trout, but the corn was yummier. Oh...and now we're in Denver where dad is sorta workin and mom & dad are looking at where we wanna live when we move here next spring. They think they want a house w/a sunroom for me, but I won't stand for that either. I want to be with the family. Maybe I'd stand for it when they are at work.

In other news....mom said there's a birdy store here where they grind feeties! Yikes! Actually I've had my feeties grounded before and it wasn't 'too bad. But when that grinder gets near my face, I scream bloody murder!!!! I'm always afraid they are going to grind my whole face off!

Lastly, I haven't heard from my sorta boyfriend, Louie. I think he realized he needs to concentrate on girl 'toos closer to him. *sigh*.

My last visit to Cockatoo Street for awhile

Today was a big day for me! Since I knew I was going to Cockatoo street and they have boys there, I had to be looking my best. Dad gave me a wing trim, then dad & mom grounded my feeties down. I didn't like that. I made swiss cheese out of the towel they wrapped me in. I felt like the filling of a burritoo! Later that evening we took sushi over to Cockatoo street. The girls ate sushi and the boys ate pizza. I ate a chopstick and some pizza crust. I met a CUTE boy named Louie. He likes to fling chopsticks too, but he can fling them higher and harder than I do. Then he laughs and laughs and laughs!!! He seemed to like me, in the pictures you can see him talking to me and listening intently to what I have to say. He's also up for some preening anytime, so I gave him a quicky on the head! LOL!
